From Climate Challenge to Sustainable Change: Acting Today, Adapting for Tomorrow

On October 1, 2025, Mr. Samart Asrasakorn, Chief Executive Officer of Kabinburi Industrial Zone Co., Ltd., represented leading private sector organizations in sharing insights at the panel discussion.
“From Climate Challenge to Sustainable Change: Acting Today, Adapting for Tomorrow”, or in Thai, “เมื่อโลกท้าทาย ลงมือร่วมกัน เปลี่ยนอนาคตให้ยั่งยืน”.
The event was hosted by the Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) and the Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute Foundation under the Royal Patronage as part of the SUSTAINABILITY EXPO 2025 (SX2025) at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
Other participants included representatives from the Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, The Siam Cement Public Company Limited, T.C. Pharmaceutical Industries Co., Ltd., and the Honda Thailand Foundation — reflecting how Thai businesses are taking concrete actions and are committed to advancing sustainable development in collaboration with all sectors.
Mr. Samart also highlighted the challenges of climate change faced by the industrial sector and how water information systems are being utilized for effective water management planning. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment, stating:
“We are determined to foster knowledge, collaboration, and efficient water usage — enabling the industrial sector to grow alongside the preservation of the environment and communities for long-term stability and sustainability.”
